Autonomy
Deciding which technology to use and how, without being locked in.
Cooperative
A cooperative technology project in the process of being constituted.
AJUTIA is a project based in Terres de l’Ebre preparing to become a cooperative. Products and connections are at different stages of development and verification; availability must be checked for each service.
AJUTIA aims to become a cooperative, giving people and organisations more say in the technology they use. We want local needs to guide service development.
We propose participatory governance, clear information about costs and dependencies, and portability that can be tested. These commitments need specific rules, resources and responsibilities.
Incorporation, bylaws and participation arrangements still need to be formalised. We will publish verified information when it is available.
To support compliance, work and useful AI: understandable, responsible and sustainable. We do not promise guaranteed legal compliance or savings; guidance is a starting point for professional review.
Deciding which technology to use and how, without being locked in.
Own data, minimal permissions and the right to export.
Knowing what each tool does and being able to review it.
Plain language and design everyone can use.
Open interfaces and interchangeable providers.
Visible costs and resources that last.
Each territory and trade brings its own solutions.
Each service is at a different stage of development and verification. Availability must be checked for each one.
Public information, diagnostic and contact. This is where you are now.
Support for compliance and deployment, with human review when enabled.
Assistants in development. Unverified voice capabilities are not presented as available.
Trials with organisations and territorial projects. Each pilot is designed and evaluated.
No mandatory lock-in to a single provider; interchangeability must be testable.
Each organisation can take its data with them.
Only the data needed for each function.
One writer per resource to prevent write conflicts.
Governance still needs to be formalised. The proposal includes:
Those driving the project and making initial decisions.
Voices of users and builders.
A person reviews before irreversible actions, when enabled.
Design, test, pilot and production: each stage has criteria before moving to the next.
Different audiences with different commitments. None implies automatic membership.
For those who want to drive the cooperative constitution.
ContactFor councils, companies and entities that want to trial a service.
Request pilotFor those who want to collaborate with resources or knowledge.
ContactUsing a service and becoming a cooperative member are different relationships. Commercial terms must be defined for each service; membership rights and requirements will be published when formalised. You can currently express interest in participating without joining.
The project takes as reference the priorities of Spain's IA360 Plan and the European Union's Apply AI and Digital Decade 2030 strategies. Taking them as reference does not imply adhesion, funding, endorsement or certification by these administrations. The IA360 Plan announces initiatives such as the NEURONA Network or a future AI voucher; AJUTIA is not listed as an adhered, selected, funded or endorsed entity in any of them.
